THEME
OF OUR LITURGY
-
|
|
Saint Paul
tells us that all of us, in some
way, are given gifts of the Holy
Spirit, gifts that can be used to
spread the Good
News.
|
First Reading: Acts
2:1-11
Filled with the Holy Spirit, the apostles
begin to speak in tongues.
Second
Reading: 1 Corinthians 12:3b-7,
12-13
In one Spirit we are baptized into one
body and given to drink of one
Spirit.
Gospel: John
20:19-23
Jesus Christ appears to the disciples and
sends them on their mission with the power
to forgive or retain sins through the Holy
Spirit.

For
more than 25 years, the
CATHOLIC
COMMUNICATION
CAMPAIGN
has been spreading
the Gospel message
locally and nationally
on radio, television, in
print, and on the
Internet. It is only
through donations from
Catholic parishioners
that this is possible.
Please contribute
generously next week to
the
Catholic
Communications
Campaign.
