of Christian Initiation of Adults
(RCIA) Begins Soon
Ask
yourself these questions:
Have I received all three
Sacraments of Initiation?
Baptism? Confirmation? Holy
Eucharist (Communion)? If
you answered no to any of these
questions, then do you know that
you don't have all the graces
possible to know, love, and serve
God in this world? If you
answered yes, then maybe you
would like to help with
RCIA. Please contact Diana
Powell, RCIA director, to discuss
whether or not RCIA is for
you.
Next
set of questions! Do you
know anyone that is a member of
another Christian faith,
who would like to find out
what we believe and teach . . .
and why? Or do you know
anyone who has not been Baptized
in any Christian faith who would
like to inquire about the
Catholic faith? If any
family member, friend, or
co-worker has asked you questions
about the faith, bring them to
RCIA and walk the walk with
them. Both you and your
candidate will be truly
blessed. Please contact

EUCHARISTIC
ADORATION AT MATER
DOLOROSA
Please
sign up for Eucharistic Adoration for
August 1, 2008. It is an enriching
experience to spend some peaceful time in
the Holy Presence of Jesus in prayerful
reflection. You will find the sign up
sheets in the vestibule of the Church.
All day Eucharistic Adoration is followed
by Benediction at 7:30 p.m. Please plan
to participate.

Lady of Sorrows beginning on September 6th
following the 8:00 a.m. Mass, September
7th following the 12:00 p.m. Mass,
September 8th through September 13th
following the 8:00 a.m. Mass, and ending
on September 14th following the 12:00 p.m.
Mass. Please join the Legion of Mary in
prayer during this time.
