to Christ the
Healer
Lord
Jesus, You so
often healed
all those who
were brought
before You.
Today, we bring
before You our

and all those
we hold dear
who are in need
of Your saving
word and Your

LET
US SUPPORT YOU IN YOUR ROLE AS
THE FIRST CATECHIST TO YOUR
CHILDREN!
Childrens
Faith Formation (School of
Religion or CCD) Telephone:
588-8175
Do
you need help in enriching your
childrens faith and to get
closer to God? Have you ever
wondered if your children really
understand why you go to church,
who is that person on the cross,
why is HE there? Would you like
your children to grow up living
their Catholic faith or just
having a memory of their First
Reconciliation, First Eucharist
and/or their Confirmation? Do you
think your children will be
strong enough in their faith when
they leave your home and go to
college?
Register
your children for the
Childrens Faith Formation
classes. We can assist you by
making more explicit the
teachings of the Catholic Church,
applying its teaching to their
lives, helping them celebrate
their faith and echoing the Word
of God.
Your
parish also prepares your
children for the celebration of
First Reconciliation, First
Eucharist and Confirmation;
children must be enrolled one
year prior to the year of
preparation for the
sacrament.
I
will be available after the 10:00
am and 12:00 Noon Masses today,
August 24th, to answer your
questions, and accept
registration forms for
Childrens Faith Formation
for the upcoming fall semester.
Please stop by my table to say
hello, and pick-up a registration
form. Forms should be returned to
the Faith Formation Office by
September 2nd.
- Thank
you,
- Rachael
Smit,
- Director
of Religious
Education
