Celebrating 65 Years of Mater Dolorosa

Honoring Our Past. Building Our Future. Growing in Faith Together.

For 65 years, Mater Dolorosa Catholic Parish has been a place of worship, prayer, service, fellowship, and faith formation in South San Francisco. Join us as we celebrate this milestone, give thanks for those who came before us, and continue building a vibrant parish community for generations to come.

A Legacy Worth Celebrating

Since 1961, generations of parishioners have called Mater Dolorosa home. Together, our community has celebrated the sacraments, worshiped in faith, served our neighbors, formed families and friendships, and carried forward the mission of the Church.

Our 65th anniversary is an opportunity to celebrate everything that has brought us here—and to recommit ourselves to the future.

As we mark this special year, we invite every member of our parish family, past and present, to take part.
