Dear Family in Christ,

At Mater Dolorosa, Child Faith Formation is about being formed to live our faith. We do that by "echoing the Word of God" in our lives.

Thank you for your interest in our Family Faith Formation Program. Aside from preparation for the Sacraments of First Communion and Confirmation, our ongoing faith formation programs nurture each child's growth in their baptismal faith from Grades 1-12 (as long as the child is under 18 years old).

We have three family meetings each year which parents/guardians are required to attend. There are additional parent/guardian meetings for those children who are preparing for the sacraments of First Reconciliation, First Communion and Confirmation. We also have two breaks each year during Christmas and Easter.

Children desiring to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation, First Communion, and Confirmation must be enrolled one year prior to the year of preparation for the reception of the sacrament.

We MUST receive a copy of your child's BAPTISMAL and/or COMMUNION CERTIFICATES, the registration form and payment before your child is officially registered into our program.
